Indigo Compacts

Remember when the standard was a quarter - acre block? Well those days are never going to come again. Increasingly Queensland developers are developing fabulous public amenities and smaller private spaces. The rise of the small lot might be good for sustainability and affordability, but not all builders have embraced it with a product range that’s designed to suit. Most other builders have floorplans that are just a little too wide, or worse, take up the whole lot with the house.

So where’s the yard supposed to go?

The key is to maximise your living space inside without sacrificing the living space outside. It’s not as easy as it sounds – it takes a different kind of design approach to make internal spaces work hard so there’s absolutely no wasted space – but we have done it!

In fact our most popular design Caribbean 248 was recently chosen as the Small Lot Housing Winner at the 2010 Master Builders Association Brisbane Region Housing and Construction Awards.
