How long will it take to build my new home?

If 'How much will my home cost?' is a question near the top of any homeowner’s list, then it’s in good company with that other top question: 'How long will it take to build it?'

The answer depends primarily on where you’re building.

If you’re about to buy land in any of the following developments, then you could qualify for Indigo Express and have a fixed price contract in 48 hours and be on-site in just 12 weeks.

• Highland Reserve
• Woodlands
• Springfield Lakes
• Brightwater
• Rochedale
• Flagstone Creek 

If you’re building somewhere else, (or don’t meet the other Indigo Express criteria), then it will take 16 weeks to build a single-storey home and 20 weeks to build a double-storey home. You can download our No Surprises Building Book for the details on all the other stages and how long they take.

If you’re keen to be rock-solid certain about timeframes, then Indigo Express could be for you. Let’s face it, who wants to traipse in and out of display homes every weekend, when there’s an express route to moving in to your brand new home?

Here’s what Indigo Express gives you:

1. your fixed price contract within 48 hours.
2. construction start on- site within 12 weeks
3. home built within 16 or 20 weeks (single- and double- storey respectively)*
